New facilities in the basin box: pipe basins, cylinder-shaped sedimentation basins with or without filter
Now the three new facility types pipe basins and cylindrical sedimentation basins with and without filters can be dimensioned in the basin box, all with circular cross-sections with circular segments to a raised outlet, for sedimentation upstream in the facility.
The facility’s diameter, length and height to the outlet are specified, by which the facility’s permanent water volume is calculated. The volume replaces the calculated volume based on rain depth, but the rain depth is then calculated and stated in the result report.
For sedimentation basins incl. pipe basins (facility no. 2), available detention volume and required detention volume is calculated. A warning triangle arises if the available volume is less than the required volume with instructions for dimensioning a larger facility or increasing its outflow.
More detailed information is provided in the guide under the basin section, facility 1-2.
