StormTac Database has been updated to a Web-based Database!
After a long time to develop and improve our current database, we have now gone from an Excel-based database to a Web-based database!
StormTac Database is a comprehensive database that compiles large amounts of data and references from mostly flow-proportional sampling.
The database consists of, among other things, stormwater concentrations, wastewater, combined sewer overflow (CSO) and surface water concentrations. There are also critical (goal) concentrations for stormwater and surface waters. A license is required to access all data, including compiled treatment effects of many types of treatment facilities, base flow concentrations, runoff coefficients and a calculation model for facility costs.
The StormTac database compiles unique annual flow-weighted data calculated by the company StormTac from raw data from e.g. the NURP, NSQD and the BMP database, as well as from other literature data. The data is continuously updated (weekly/monthly) with new data for more substances, land uses and treatment facilities. There are now data for 190 substances.
With the StormTac database as a web application, we make it easier for you to find data and references. For example, you can filter and search for specific land uses, substances, and facility types. You get a helicopter perspective on references and data. This development makes the database more accessible and more user-friendly. You have the right to copy data with reference to the database.
From the menu tab “Stormwater concentrations” you can also filter references from where in the world data was collected and from which years. The data is implemented in the stormwater and recipient model StormTac Web with standard recommended typical values. You can then use optional filtered data in your calculations in, for example, StormTac Web that can be changed by the user, by overwriting the general type values, to reflect site-specific conditions and to better suit the specific conditions for your project.
In this development, an extensive literature search for more data has also been included, which has resulted in more references and updated typical values.
The database can be found on this website (www.stormtac.com) under Downloads -> StormTac Data, so that the latest updates are always available. For full access to all data or license on StormTac Web, please email info@stormtac.com for more information!
