Release notes v17.1.2
Irreducible concentrations for all facility types
After a literature study (with data available in the tab Irreducible Concentrations in the database) the concept of irredicible concentrations are now aplied to all facility types, not just wet ponds and wetlands.
By default this parameter is used for all calculations of treatment effects (selected parameter in the box Reduction efficiency). This limits the treatment effect that can not be higher than a certain minimum outlet concentration is achieved due to the release of substances from sediments, plant bed or filter material.
You can also try not to include the parameter and/or input an optional treatment effect by studying the data in the database.
If dimensioning a larger facility or adding a facility in series and the resulting reduction efficiency of a particular substance is not increased, it may be explained by this parameter.
