New updates StormTac Web

Calculation of total flows and pollutants from several areas in the same project

1. Calculation of total design flows from several areas (A1, A2, …A99) considering that each area results in different design part-flow at different duration. This means that the sum of the part-flows from each area is calculated at each duration and that the largest of these partial sums equal to the total design flow.

2. Calculation of the total load (kg/year) and concentration (µg/l) of pollutants from several areas (A1, A2, … A99).

3. The results for total design flow and duration (1) and the load and concentration of pollutants (2) appear in the multi-report where the areas desired to be summed are selected.

Precipitation Data (country specific)

In the box Precipitation there are now links to Precipitation Data.
These will gradually be filled with more links from different countries.

Minor update StormTac Web

Updated recipient model

Allows the calculation of acceptable load and required treatment from dissolved or bioavailable concentrations of the substances for which guideline values for these are specified in these fractions *.

– Calculation of dissolved or bioavailable recipient concentrations as an option, with the input of dissolved or bioavailable fractions.
– Input of dissolved or bioavailable measured recipient concentrations as an option.
– Added recipient criteria concentrations for As.
– Updated references for the recipient criteria.

*) Previously, and still as default, these loads are calculated on the basis of total fractions for all substances, giving a margin of substances whose guidance values are expressed as dissolved or bioavailable fractions.
Now it is possible to calculate these loads from the same fractions as the benchmarks relate to.
